Getting there · Buses to Onjeong run from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal (4 per day) and take about 5 hr 5 min.

Deokgu Hot Springs Uljin

It's described as Korea's only natural hot spring that rises on its own without pumping, and it's Gyeongsangbuk-do's National Health Hot Spring No. 1.

Water · Mildly alkaline spring water that rises at 42.4℃ from the source bath halfway up Eungbongsan Mountain (sodium bicarbonate, potassium, calcium and more).

Getting there · Take a bus to Bugu from Dong Seoul Bus Terminal (13 per day, about 3 hr 40 min), then transfer at Bugu Terminal to a rural bus bound for Deokgu Hot Springs.

Bugok Hot Springs Changnyeong

At the outdoor foot bath inside the hot spring complex, anyone can soak their feet in spring water for free.

Water · At 78℃, it has the highest water temperature of any hot spring in Korea, and it contains sulfur.

A hot spring with about 1,300 years of history dating back to the Three Kingdoms period, once visited by the Joseon royal family.
